CSCEC's ME branch wins highest business award in Dubai

The Middle East branch of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) won a "Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award" at a ceremony held recently in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was the only Chinese enterprise to gain the honor this year.

The assessment committee of the event said that the company has made a great contribution to the development of the construction market in the UAE, with its distinctive advantages in infrastructure and building construction. It also played a key role in carrying out corporate social responsibilities. 

As the largest international contractor in the UAE, the company has a variety of businesses including building construction, infrastructure, mechanical and electrical installations and steel structures.

By the end of 2018, the company had initiated more than 80 projects in the Middle East covering housing, hotels, hospitals, office buildings, roads, bridges and airports and gained more than 40 awards in China and abroad. It has contributed a lot to people's livelihoods and the economic and social development of the region.

The company has won a good reputation from the government and residents and become one of the most prestigious local brands.

Established in 2005, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award is the highest award in the business field given by the Dubai government. Organized and selected by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the award aims to appraise those leading enterprises that play a vital role in promoting a stable national economy and sustainable development with world-class management, competitiveness and experience.
