Port network built to deepen cooperation with Singaporean port

Updated: 2018-06-05

Beibu Gulf Port Group signed a joint venture agreement with Singapore's PSA International at the Pan-Beibu Gulf Economic Cooperation Forum held on May 24 to set up an internet company to strengthen cooperation between ports of the two countries.

The joint venture will develop a port network, which is set to launch some of its function modules later this year, to meet fast-growing business needs of the group and the requirement for efficient and accurate data exchange between carriers, shippers, agents and terminals.

It also aims to enhance the level of intelligence of Beibu Gulf Port and realize information sharing and exchanges with the port of Singapore.

The internet company is the third cooperation project between the group and the PSA.
